Do you accommodate last-minute requests?We do everything we can to accomodate last-minute pet care requests; however, we do recommend booking with us as far as in advance as possible to ensure we have space for your pet family.

I’m a little uneasy about have a sitter in my home. Why should I trust your company?All of our sitters have been drug tested, background checked, and thoroughly interviewed prior to being hired on to our company, so your home and pet can be in the best hands possible!

Are you insured and bonded?Yes, K9 Vacations is proud to be insured and bonded through Pet Care Insurance for you and your pets' safety.

Can I have other people enter the home while I'm away? (maid, family, friends)"Yes. However, your sitter will need to be advised of who will be coming and when, as well as have a good contact number for that person. It's also helpful to know that our pet care insurance will cover your home and pet only if the sitter is currently occupying the space.

How do you handle client keys?We would like to receive a copy of your keys at the meet and greet. IF you want your sitter to pick up keys and drop them off once services are complete there will be an $18 charge added to your invoice for each trip. Another alternative is a client using a lockbox for holding keys. We will NOT leave keys under mats or pots. You are also more than welcome to give your sitter a garage code.

What happens if my pet becomes sick (or there's an emergency) in your care?We will reach out to you immediately to update you on the circumstances. If you feel your pet needs medical attention, we will get your pet right over to see your preferred veterinarian. If there's an emergency, we will take your pet to your preferred veterinarian if it's near your home. We will also go over emergency information at your initial Meet & Greet to see how you wish to proceed if something where to happen overnight or if we cannot get ahold of you.

Can you administer medication?Yes, we are able to administer oral and topical medications.

Do you care for pets with aggression problems?If your pet has bitten a human out of aggression, we can not provide services. If your pet is scared or nervous around new people we can possibly work out a plan to get this pet used to a sitter.

What is Time To Pet?Time to Pet is a pet sitting software. The Time to Pet App makes it simple and easy for clients to request new services, check scheduled visits, update their pet info, view and send messages and make payments. The Time to Pet App can be downloaded directly from the Apple App or Google Play. If a Client prefers to access their account on their computer, TTP created the Client Portal. The Client Portal provides the same great features as the Client App but from the web browser. Clients can request services, make cancellations, process payments and more. Clients can update their own profile directly from the App or the Client Portal or I can update their profile. The process of requesting visits should be easy for Client's. Clients can make requests from the App or the Client Portal. All requests are reviewed by HFP before they are approved. Client's can also view all pending or scheduled visits, submit cancellations/change requests and add specific notes when making requests! Time to Pet makes it simple to generate invoices by linking them with scheduled services. It's just as easy for clients to review their invoices and make payments. Payments can be made via credit/debit card or ACH.
